You don’t have to be the best to do good!

Once you get used to the wonky art style, this anime is pretty amazing! And to be honest, I really love the art style.

This anime is by the same studio as Attack on Titan and the new Seraph of the End. Can you believe that? The backgrounds are like beautiful nearly abstract watercolour paintings. I love it. It really fits the whole fantasy setting.

After Japan has been divided due some war, the “bests” of the region fight each other for power. These people named “Bests” have insane power, to the point where they’re like superpowers!  When the Best Macha Green is put in the hospital, Nozomi sets out to solve some problems. She is joined by Yukina, Ai, and Chiaya. These girls join the party for their own reasons.

To be fair, the story and characters aren’t that good. I feel like there’s still some plot holes and the characters aren’t as fleshed out as they should have been.

However, I think this is a cute anime with a nice message and it’s a refreshing style from what’s been airing lately.
