Nanatsu no Taizai is a well written, bit clichéd medieval-fantasy adventure anime. A girl named Elizabeth tries to find knights named after the seven deadly sins. She hopes they can defeat the holy knights who committed treason against the King. However, the Seven Deadly Sins are accused of having tried a coup d’état and murdering the Great Holy Knight.

Despite the overuse of tropes, this anime is worth watching, because it is exciting and action-packed. It’s interesting to watch and I’m not too annoyed by all the characters. The characters are quite typical, but I don’t think they’re annoying or too bland. The tropes actually work in favour of the anime. It’s been a while since I saw such a good straightforward anime. The music is fantastic as great as well. It fits the setting and mood, so there’s nothing to really complain about.

If you like straightforward action and adventure, then this is a great watch!
